Villa Hugo was built in 2011 and rebuilt inside from scratch, so a holiday feels like being at home — only warmer. Below is, honestly, everything you will find in the house.
A quiet estate of fifty houses
Parking in front of the villa is unlimited — you can park right by the residence, even with a larger car.
In the middle of the estate lies a large adult pool with a gradually sinking bottom, and a round children's paddling pool beside it. The water is salted.
Sun loungers around the pool are free — move them wherever the sun is, and put them back when you are done. Two showers stand next to the pool to rinse the salt off, or the sand off after the sea. The garden, pool and outdoor areas are looked after by maintenance.

The interior was replaced completely. We really did think of everything.

Borrowed items belong back in the house so the next guests can use them too. If something gets lost, let us know — we will buy a replacement and ask you to cover it. A tip in return: wash in the morning and the sun has your laundry dry in two or three hours.
Sahara sand, a kilometre away
Playa del Tauro is walkable from the villa along a quiet asphalt road — about one kilometre. The sand is brought in from the Sahara and the entry into the sea is gradual.
Playa de Amadores, 1.6 km away, is one of the most beautiful white-sand beaches on Gran Canaria. Restaurants and small markets ring the bay, loungers and umbrellas are for hire, and showers and toilets sit in the middle of the beach.
Parking is free around the beach when a space is left, otherwise there is a paid underground car park. Do not park in the yellow zones — the fines are steep and the checks are real.
We recommend renting a car — not only for the airport transfer, but to reach the other beaches, the harbours and the mountain villages.
